In New York, São Paulo, Paris, Istanbul, Nairobi, New Delhi and Beijing,
Baret curates 30-hours of in-depth learning where regional experts engage with
our students in the form of masterclasses, workshops, and excursions into the city.
It brings all of our students together to intellectually engage with the region, the world, and themselves.
We call it our Morning Program.

Educational Expeditions

For seven days in each region, our students step off the beaten path and into the world.
In one year, one scholar may go to Mexico City to speak with its leaders,
to the end of the world in Patagonia and the top of the world in Kilimanjaro,
into a Flamenco step in Andalusia, into the jungle of Madhya Pradesh to track tigers,
and into Shenzhen to be on the cutting edge of innovation.
We call these our Fellowships.

Advising

Our students receive unparalleled mentorship: weekly one-on-one advising with our faculty,
college counselling to prepare them for university, and a course in Life Design to help them find their calling.

Seminars

Baret’s faculty offer seminars in disciplines ranging from entrepreneurship
to politics and creative writing. Our curriculum creates global citizens and critical thinkers
prepared for university classrooms and global careers.

Independent Learning

Each student spends the year working on a Capstone Project, a labor of learning
and love that is entirely their own. They also have plenty of time for independent exploration.

Our Faculty

A team of faculty and staff travel with our students.
They are lawyers, filmmakers, expedition leaders, and scientists.
They are graduates of top universities from around the world and bring their knowledge and
professional experience to our students through their seminars and advising.

Our Route

Our scholars journey through 7 regions of the world —
North America, Latin America, Europe, Middle East, Africa, India and China
— each chosen for their cultural, economic and political significance.
